A new, Irvine-based startup, Neuron EV said late last week that it is targeting the electric vehicle market, unveiling a new idea for an EV called the “HUB”. The startup–which did not disclose any details on its funding, executives, or background in the transportation industry–rolled out a series of artist’s renderings of its HUB, which it says stands for “Harmony, Utility, Balance”, and which it calls a “new paradigm of transportation that aims to make a positive impact in our society.” The startup said its new products will operate autonomously, and also integrate “blockchain technology”. The company’s founder is listed as Scott Zheng of PurpleSky Capital, according to Zheng’s profile on LinkedIn, with the company dual headquartered in Shanghai, China.
