A holistic hospitality company, that provides “fair-priced lodging, co-working and fitness experiences,” based on personal wellness, social good and the environment today announced it has raised $5 million in a Series A Preferred round.

The aptly-named Soul Community Planet, with HQ in San Juan Capistrano, said in a press release from today that the raise reflects approximately 17% of its total capitalization. A second Series A closing is planned for February 2020.

Ken Cruse is the CEO and co-founder.

The first two venues for the startup – in Colorado Springs and Redmond, WA. – incorporate lodging, co-working memberships and boutique fitness.

The third venue is slated to open in Q1 2020.

To help guide its strategic execution, Soul Community Planet also has formed a 14-person advisory committee comprised of key industry leaders, conscious capitalists and social entrepreneurs.
