NEWS: OC Entrepreneur Offers Service For Unlimited Video Conference Calls

As concerns about the spread of the coronavirus inspire more employers to encourage employees to work from home, one OC entrepreneur has heard complaints about the 40-minute time limit restriction on free Zoom video calls.

Matt Zimmer, founder of OC Engine, said he decided to divert his marketing budget from online ads and instead spend those funds on a service to provide entrepreneurs free, unlimited conferencing.

OC Engine has “aggressively pivoted” from sending out aggregated news content about OC towards online, hosted events, Zimmer told OCSN.

It’s now ramping up the hosting of several local business education programs, with 1 Million Cups being the cornerstone, which will combine business, entertainment, education, and interaction with viewers.

“The best way I can describe what we’re doing is I often ponder the question, ‘What would television look like if it were built from the ground up in the internet era?’ and putting a startup/business spin on it,” Zimmer said.

While he acknowledges that there are many similar videoconferencing services available, his is designed specifically for the entrepreneurship community. That’s why it’s only available to members of his OC Engine community.

Key features include:

– unlimited audio/video conferencing & broadcasting – no meeting time limit, no attendee limit.

– group & private team working functionality – broadcast your meetup or meeting to your membership or conduct your one-on-one meeting with ease

– feature-rich functionality – share files, conduct polls, create to-do lists, etc.
