*NEWS: Startup Working to Alleviate Chronic Pain Close to Closing Seed Round, Which Was Oversubscribed

A startup that developed a way to use magnetic therapy for chronic pain is close to closing a seed series round of $3.85 million.

Neuralace Medical received $850,000 in convertible notes in 2017 and $3 million in new capital this year.

The lead investors are Verde and FusionX, with Teal Ventures following, along with friends, family and board members.

The round has been oversubscribed by $800,000, CEO Shiv Shukla told OC Startups Now, adding that the company expects the round to officially close on Friday.
