*NEWS – Startups That Use Zoom Can Win up to $2 Million in VC Funding

A company that developed a video conference and collaboration tool has launched a competition for startups that use it.

The Zoom App Marketplace Competition is seeking “the most promising ideas” built on the Zoom platform for a chance to win to $2 million in funding from VC firms including Emergence Capital, Horizons Ventures, Maven Ventures and Sequoia Capital.

Other prizes include Zoom pro licences for three years, a Zoom Room subscription for three years, a DTEN D7 ’55 interactive whiteboard, Zoom resources, priority Zoom developer support and access to customer validation and feedback from Zoom experts.

Eligibility requirements include that a startup has raised less than $10 million.

The submission deadline is March 31, 2020.
