NEWS: VR Startup Announces Partnership with Silverado Memory Care Community. Partnership Enables MyndVR’s Entrance into the LA Market…..

A startup that provides VR tech and devices for senior living communities has inked a partnership with Silverado, a memory care operator with communities in six states across the country.

MyndVR, with HQ in Irvine, said in a January 21 press release that Silverado will be implementing its VR platform in communities across SoCal.

This partnership marks the startup’s entrance into the LA market, and will include Beverly Place Memory Care community and Beach Cities Memory Care Community in Redondo Beach.

Each care community will receive customized headsets and care tablets, as well as access to MyndVR’s content library powered by Littlstar, a global content network dedicated to VR, 360-degree video and immersive experiences.

MyndVR previously partnered with Silverado to study how VR helps improve happiness and reduce social isolation in aging residents at long-term care facilities.

MyndVR also provides VR tech and devices to home health care agencies and directly to older adults.

The company is curating a “vast” library of VR content and creating genres of recreational, prescriptive and on-demand content.

Chris Brickler is the co-founder and CEO of MyndVR, which launched in 2016.
