UPDATE: Wing, Which Just Launched Personal Shopper App, Adds Services to Help During Quarantine

An AI-powered personal shopper app has added some extra services to help users during the coronavirus pandemic.

Wing’s app now provides the following:

official information on how to properly deal with the threat

finding groceries that are not typically in stock at supermarkets (i.e.toilet paper)

suggesting activities that are safe and fun during quarantine

researching opening hours for stores

The startup, with HQ in Irvine, also just entered talks with the John Muir Health Group and Kaiser Permanente to give Wing to their (now super-busy) frontline medical professionals for free for a month to relieve them from some of their burden in these hectic times.

And, it launched Wing Crisis Response on Product Hunt, leveraging its tech to organize people’s lives by providing a non-profit COVID-19 help platform.
